The October Women’s Camp held at Wahmungku (Maria Lagoon) at Limmen River on Marra Country. The camp went from 13th to the 17th, with 25 women in attendence, plus 2 kids. During the week, the women did a variety of activites, like cooking sweet potato and kangaroo tail, fishing, and having health talks with the Health Workers invited to the camp. The catering was provided by Patrica Parlow and Patsy Evans, with the camp being ran by Emmalena Barrett and Jodie Evans.
