The Limmen Marine Park is an important part of Marra Sea Country in the remote South-West Gulf of Carpentaria.
Recently, alongside the launch of our Marranbala Land and Sea Country Plan, Parks Australia released a short film about Limmen Marine Park and the cultural importance of Marra Sea Country.
The film is a beautiful supporting production that reinforces the message: “The sea is not empty, it’s full of life, and we [Marra] have cultural obligations to manage that”.
