Namultja Semiannual Newsletter – August 2024 Edition
The first half of the year’s been full-on for the Namultja crew — from archaeology digs to boardroom chats and bumpy rides to Limmen River. Here’s the lowdown:
Nathan River Archaeology Trip – Directors teamed up with archaeologists and hit the foggy tracks in June. The project’s been delayed for now, but that didn’t stop a solid meeting from going ahead.
New Wheels! – Say hello to the official Namultja vehicle, making meetings easier and looking slick at Nathan River. Plus, a 4-seater Polaris joined the team for ranger work at Limmen River — smooth sailing (or should we say driving) all the way.
Field Trip to Numbulwar – CEO Liam, Patsy, David and Mel headed to Numbulwar in April to yarn with Elders. The support was awesome — and five new eligible members signed up!
Logo Refresh – After some creative workshopping, the directors decided to update the logo and name. Going forward we are Marranbala Land and Sea.
Stay in the Loop – An important part of being a member is having your details sorted out, so please provide
us with those, whether it be phone number, email, secondary phone number and your postal address.
